Vsinger Autumn and Winter Cosplay Design Contest!

On the 12th, the BCY Illustration channel made an announcement on their Weibo that they were collaborating with “漫有引力AScosing” to host a contest, which was officially authorized by Vsinger. The BCY Illustration channel announced a Vsinger autumn and winter design contest has started. It will be similar to the last contest, “VSinger Characters Spring Costume Design Contest”. However, this time, you must submit at least two designs in order to be qualified to enter.

Rules

1. Adult content, pornography or any violence or content that goes against the laws of the People’s Republic of China will be disqualified.
2. The theme must be based off “Vsingers autumn and winter designs;” all other themes will be disqualified.
3. The characters are limited to Luo Tianyi, Yuezheng Ling, YANHE, and Mo Qingxian. You may create multiple characters, however, you must create at least two.
4. You may pick the “Harvest time” or “Winter palace” theme. You may choose one theme in which the characters must stick to the same theme and be related to one another. You are free to make your own design, however the two must be linked to one another.
5. The designs must be colored. The design color scheme must be based off the VOCALOID’s supporting color (ex: Tianyi = blue); the outfit design style is not limited, however.
6. Body proportions should range between 7 heads tall and 8 heads tall.
7. Entries must be submitted by the contestant, and there are no limits on the amount of images per artwork. Any images with a watermark will not be accepted with the exception of the original logos.
8. If your artwork has been submitted in another contest, you may not enter using that same image. Do not plagiarize works from other artists or you will be disqualified from the contest.
9. The winners will be judged by Vsinger.

How to Join

• To enter the contest, contestant will need to register a BCY account.
• Enter the event page：http://bcy.net/huodong/73
• Click on the “我要参加” (I want to join) red button, it will lead you to the submission page. Fill up the required information including title, fandom (Vsinger) and character. Upload the artwork and make sure you insert the correct event tag “Vsinger服装设计” (Vsinger Costume Design) before click on “发布” (submit).

Event Times

Submission dates begin on September 12th, 2016, and end on October 10th, 2016. The review phase begins on October 11th, 2016, and ends on October 15th, 2016. Winners will be announced on October 16th, 2016.

Prizes

Once the products have been produced, the award-winning artist will receive an official honorary certificate from Vsinger and bonus from the shared revenue.

• First prize: ¥5000 RMB ($750 USD)
• Second prize: ¥3000 RMB ($450 USD)
• Third prize: ¥2000 RMB ($300 USD)
• Bonus prize: ¥1000 RMB ($150 USD)

*Requires more than 2 characters to enter the selection stage.

*Shared revenue: Winners will receive ¥5 RMB for each costume sold on AScosing’s Taobao shop within six months after their design is made into a costume and put on the shelf in AScosing’s Taobao shop.

*Multiple contributions will only be awarded once.

“镜花水月” (Flower in the Mirror) Set

As seen below, you can see the quality of the cosplays. They have also included some jewelry. Shoes and bustle need to be bought separately. The shirt in “Mo Qing Xian’s style 镜花水月” needs to be purchased separately as well.

“花之音” (Music of Flower) Set

In the “花之音 · Luo Tianyi” set, hair accessories as well as jewelry are included, such as a bracelet, beret, badge, and socks. The wig and shoes are not included. Similar to the above, the content of “花之音 · 言和” is the same as Tianyi’s design, with the exception of an extra jacket (wig and socks not included).
