From June 23rd to July 24th, 2017, the first leg of the Hatsune Miku Summer Festival in Shibuya Marui will take place!
The event will be held at the Marui Department Store in Shibuya, where many exclusive goods will be up for sale as part of Hatsune Miku’s 10th Anniversary celebration!
Hatsune Miku Summer Festival in Shibuya Marui “Beach Fest” Version

The first leg of the Summer Festival will be themed around beach parties. Its featured visual piece was illustrated by the artist はあと (Haato), showing Hatsune Miku with the rest of the Crypton Future Media VOCALOIDs in swimwear. Chibi illustrations of the characters in swimwear were also provided by 羊野 (Youno), and many goods based off each artists’ works were created in collaboration with the accessory and clothing brand, ARTEMIS KINGS.

Autograph Sessions & Special Raffles
はあと Illustration Exhibit and Autograph Session
Meet the person responsible for the event’s main visual and merchandise! This exhibition will not only include many of はあと’s completed works, but also some rarely-seen rough sketches and character model sheets that were used to lay the groundwork for their character illustrations!

Autograph Session Date: July 7th (Sun.) at 3:00 PM (JST)
How to Participate: Between June 23rd and July 2nd, customers who purchase at least ¥3,000 JPY (about $30 USD) worth of goods on a single purchase receipt will receive a ticket for the autograph session. Please note that these tickets are limited, and that はあと will only be autographing Hatsune Miku Summer Festival in Shibuya Marui merchandise.
Autograph Sessions with はりーP and あごなすび
はりーP (HarryP, a.k.a. Tsubasa Harihara) is a VOCALOID producer who needs no introduction. Making their debut with “Jappaa Jappaa” in 2011, and going on to create Hall of Famers such as “Bokura no Let-It-Be“, はりーP has become one of the most accomplished VOCALOID producers around. Their other accomplishments in recent years include publishing their first novel, Bokura wa Sotto Kiss wo Shita, spearheading the release of the album The Retrievers feat. Hatsune Miku ~Ghibli wo Utau~, and writing the Hatsune Miku PPP-Party in AEON theme song, “TODAY THE FUTURE.”
あごなすび (Agonasubi) is an artist who first started drawing Miku in 2013. On their Twitter page, they have even hosted fan events for Miku’s birthday and Miku Day which anyone can participate in! あごなすび is also the one responsible for the CD cover art for The Retrievers feat. Hatsune Miku ~Ghibli wo Utau~, and also handled the illustrations for “TODAY THE FUTURE!”
Autograph Session Date: July 16th (Sun.) at 3:00 PM (JST)
How to Participate: Between June 23rd and July 16th, customers who purchase a copy of The Retrievers feat. Hatsune Miku ~Ghibli wo Utau~ CD will receive a ticket for the autograph session. Those who already own a copy of the CD may bring it to the event site and receive a ticket starting on July 2nd at 2:00 PM (JST). Please note that these tickets are limited, and that はりーP and あごなすび will only be autographing the CDs.
羊野 Autographed Drawing Paper Raffle
The artist behind the chibi illustrations of the Crypton VOCALOIDs for this event will be autographing colored drawing paper for five lucky winners of this raffle!
How to Become Eligible: Between June 23rd and July 6th, customers who purchase at least ¥3,000 JPY (about $30 USD) worth of goods on a single purchase receipt will receive a ticket for the raffle.
Hatsune Miku Summer Festival in Shibuya Marui “Natsumatsuri” Version
On July 7th (Fri.), another leg of the Hatsune Miku Summer Festival in Shibuya Marui will begin and take place concurrently with the rest of Beach Fest until the event’s conclusion on July 24th. The theme of this second leg is Natsumatsuri (Japanese for “summer festival”), and its main visual piece, illustrated by かも仮面 (Kamokamen), has already been unveiled!
