Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project, SEGA has announced the new game 初音ミク Project DIVA MEGA39’s (pronounced Mega Mix) which will release on Nintendo Switch early 2020!
Songs
The new game will feature 101 songs. One will be a theme song composed just for the game, 10 will be new songs to the series, and 90 will be returning songs from previous games!

New game mode
In addition to the standard Project DIVA rhythm gameplay, Project DIVA MEGA39’s will also feature a completely new mode of rhythm game play! Players will be able to switch between modes freely, similar to Project mirai’s button and touch mode options. The details of the new mode are not yet revealed, but it will be available to play at Magical Mirai 2019.
Visual style change
Project DIVA MEGA39’s will also feature a renewed visual look. The music videos now feature an animation-like style. It’s new and fresh at the same time!
piapro design contest
Additionally, SEGA and Crypton will be hosting a design contest on Piapro! The topic of the contest is T-shirt costume design, with the winners being featured as costumes in-game. The contest will begin July 7th and last until August 15th!
Song DLC for PS4

Finally, the new songs for Project DIVA MEGA39’s will be released as DLC on Project DIVA Future Tone and Project DIVA Future Tone DX in 2020. However, the new style and game mode will be exclusive to Project DIVA MEGA39’s, so if you want to enjoy the new mode and visuals be sure to check it out!
