A few days ago, it was announced that crowdfunding for a life size Meiko and Kaito statue would begin soon. Now, we have all the details! It’s a great way to celebrate Meiko and Kaito’s 15th anniversary.
Illustration
The illustration will be drawn by iXima. At the moment we only have a sketch but the full illustration will be revealed soon!
Crowdfunding
The crowdfunding will begin on February 17th, 2020, at 17:00 and will close on April 19th, 2020, at 23:59 (times are in JST). There’s plenty of opportunity to gather up some money to help with the crowdfunding!
The crowdfunding itself will take place on the site “ACT NOW” – you will need to register an account. If you’re interested in registering now, you can do so here!
If the goal amount is reached, Meiko will be unveiled at this years Magical Mirai 2020 and Kaito will be displayed at an official event in 2021. They also plan to have a life size statue of all 6 characters together. If the amount exceeds the goal, the crowdfunding will still be open and all extras will go towards future activities for Meiko and Kaito. Let’s try and get it as high as we can!

If you purchase a course that allows you to have your name on the statue along side another course, your name on the figure will be bigger depending on number of people who do so.
The product may differ from what you see on the picture.
Overseas shipment will not be accepted, it is recommended that you use a forwarding service if you wish to do so.
If all limited courses have been purchased, they may add extra during the crowdfunding campaign if there are enough request for more.
Twitter Hashtag
They will be having a dedicated Twitter hashtag that you may use for the event. The hashtag is #MK15th_project and will be checked everyday in order to make it a community project!
