KAMIJO x Hatsune Miku Vampire Fest Collaboration Store Now Open

A collaboration store event between Hatsune Miku and visual kei artist, KAMIJO, is now taking place at the Shibuya Marui in Tokyo! Entitled the “Hatsune Miku Vampire Fest,” this event will run from January 16th to the 30th, and will feature tons of original goods for sale, as well as Miku’s voice singing KAMIJO songs.

The key visual artwork for the event has been drawn by manga artist duo, PEACH-PIT, who worked on various manga titles such as “Rozen Maiden” and “Shugo Chara!” The artwork features Miku, MEIKO, KAITO, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len in gothic, vampire-themed outfits.

Event Details

During the Vampire Fest event, there will be an illustration exhibition of PEACH-PIT’s designs and rough sketches of the key visual piece.

Customers who purchase over ¥ 3,000 (approx 27 USD) worth of goods during the event will also be entered into a lottery for the chance win one of 3 autographed chibi character illustrations by the artist Youno (羊野). Winners will be required to provide their name, address, phone number, and preferred character to be illustrated.

Those who spend at least ¥ 3,000 (approx 27 USD) worth of goods using an EPOS card, a Sumitomo Mitsui Hatsune Miku VISA card, or a Sumitomo Mitsui Hatsune Miku Mastercard will also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to receive one of the following items:

Grand Prize: 1 of 6 different life-sized cardboard character cutouts (determined at random) (6 winners)
Prize A: 1 of 12 different character mini figure stands (determined at random) (12 winners)
Prize B: Complete postcard set (contains 6 different postcards) (20 winners)
Prize C: 1 of 6 different postcards (determined at random)

There will also be a stamp rally game held at the venue in Shibuya Marui during the event period. Attendees can get a stamp card and start collecting stamps, and those who collect at least two stamps will be able to exchange their card for Hatsune Miku Vampire Fest can badges.

Furthermore, on January 21st from 7:00 pm (JST), Machigerita (マチゲリータ) will be holding a talk event on the 8th floor of the Shibuya Marui. The event is free for anyone to attend.

He won’t be the only special guest, though. KAMIJO himself will be present at the event store on January 16th from 7:30 pm for a handshake session, and again on January 30th from 7:30 pm for an autograph session. While the handshake session is free, the autograph session requires participants to have a special ticket that they can receive by purchasing any of the below merchandise, or KAMIJO CDs and goods. Participants will also receive a postcard with the event’s key visual artwork illustrated on it.
