Hatsune Miku x Yomiuri Land Go-Kart Collab Has Been Announced!

A brand new attraction has been unveiled by the wonderful people of GOODSMILE RACING as a collaboration between Hatsune Miku and Yomiuri Land has been announced with a date already set in stone.

From February 15 to March 15, 2020 you will be able to take yourself to the pit via go-kart racing!

This collaboration includes many cool things and to give it a wonderful theme, DECO*27’s “Positive Parade” has been declared as the official the event song! (Listen Here)

Fountain Show, Sea Lions and Exhibition Hall Hatsune Miku Ver.

The illustration for “Positive Parade” will be projected onto the water whilst the song plays for the show. The lights will be coloured in iconic Miku colours during the show. There will also be an exhibition for all attendees to see where illustrations, songs and images of Hatsune Miku and related events will be displayed in its own exhibition space within the venue.

Also, sea lions will perform to Hatsune Miku music with the highlight of this show will be about them dancing to DECO*27’s “Positive Parade”. The announcer for the event will also be in Miku cosplay.

Collaboration Rides, Food & Goods

This all-new amazing collaboration includes a plethora of items, rides and provisions for fans to enjoy throughout the day after a hard yet fulfilling day of racing. For the rides, we have quite a select bunch of attractions for people to venture into and enjoy to the max, check them out below:

  • Bandit – The rollercoaster “Bandit” will have Miku decorations decorating the station building, and Miku herself will make departure announcements for the ride.
  • Giant Ferris Wheel – Pretty self explainative, music featuring Miku will play during the ride for fans to enjoy. All 6 Piapro characters will decorate the carriages beautifully.
  • Merry-Go-Round – There will be Miku decorations and Miku music playing during the ride.
  • Go-Kart Racing – The go-karts will be decorated with images of Racing Miku.
  • Looping Starship – There will be Miku decorations on the ride.
  • Bungee Jump – You get a special badge for being one of the courageous people tha dare to jump!

Hatsune Miku Rally

At the venue, you’ll be able to visit 7 locations around the amusement park where there will be photo panels where you’ll use your phone to scan a QR code and that way you can collect stamps. If you’re one of the lucky ones, you will hit ‘bingo’ and obtain a prize! But if you don’t win right away then don’t be sad because there’s still a prize for participating. The rewards are:
