About the AniMonozukuri Awards

As anime and manga fandom grows, so too does their presence in the general market. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon at all to see automotive, food, advertising, or technology companies forming cross-promotional partnerships with popular anime and manga characters. The AniMonozukuri Awards were formed to publicly recognize what they see as the superior goods, services, promotional campaigns, spot ads, and more that have resulted from such partnerships to create new business opportunities.

The Tokaido Diva Hatsune Miku woodblock prints’ commendation as one such “superior” product is a commendable feat for both the artisans of the paintings, and for the digital diva herself. Miku’s growing recognition as not only a VOCALOID character, but also an iconic figure in the general entertainment world continues to impress and break new ground.
