It’s almost August 31st, which means it’s also almost Miku’s 9th anniversary. Last year, Crypton hosted a live broadcast on Niconico called “Hatsune Miku Congratulatory Live Nico Show” to usher in her birthday, and it appears that they will be hosting a “9th Anniversary Congratulatory Live Nico Show” come this August 31st.
In addition to Miku’s and Luka’s voice providers, Saki Fujita and Yuu Asakawa, also making an appearance at the show will be Crypton’s voice synthesis software developer, Wataru Sasaki (a.k.a. wat), head of PR for SEGA’s Hatsune Miku Project, Taro Maihama, and finally, Crypton employee, Kumiko Meguro.
Among the many topics planned to be covered during the live broadcast are: 1) an introduction to the Hatsune Miku V4x software, and the untold story behind its development, 2) the announcement of a collaborative project between Miku and a shampoo product (which many predict will have something to do with the cosmetic company Lux Straight & Beauty, which sponsored the Hatsune Miku Symphony and Magical Mirai events), and 4) more information on Magical Mirai 2016.
Timeshift reservations to watch the live broadcast can be taken here:
Furthermore, two days after the live broadcast on September 2nd, there will be another live broadcast of a special program to air right before the Magical Mirai concert. Fans are advised to keep an eye out for updated information as the appointed day approaches.
